Why This Program Exists
Out of Box Theatre is launching a Creative Producer Apprentice Program inside the Creator’s Den in Marietta.
This is not a traditional internship. It is a hands-on creative partnership for one emerging creative who wants to help build programming, support artists, and explore new performance ideas in an intimate performance space.
The apprentice will work alongside Out of Box Theatre leadership to help shape events, support production, and participate in the development of what the Creator’s Den becomes.

Out of Box Theatre has spent more than a decade producing bold, intimate theatre in the Atlanta area. The company is known for inventive productions, strong storytelling, and a collaborative creative process.
The Creator’s Den
The Creator’s Den is a flexible performance and creative space inside the Artisan Resource Center in Marietta. It is home to comedy, improv, experimental performance, workshops, and new ideas still taking shape. This is where we test the future.
The Apprentice Role
The Creative Producer Apprentice will help build programming inside the Creator’s Den.

What You Will Gain
This program is designed to give one emerging creative a real understanding of how independent theatre and creative spaces operate.
Rather than observing from the sidelines, the apprentice participates in the creative and logistical work that brings performances and events to life.

Who Should Apply
We are looking for one emerging creative interested in helping shape programming inside the Creator’s Den.
Creative Thinker
Enjoys generating ideas, experimenting with new formats, and helping shape programming for the Creator’s Den.
Organized and Reliable
Comfortable helping coordinate projects, support artists, and keep creative work moving forward.
Collaborative
Enjoys working with artists, performers, and creative teams to develop new work and community events.
Program Structure
The Creative Producer Apprentice Program runs for one year.
Time Commitment
Approximately 8-12 hours per week, depending on projects
and events.
Format
The apprentice will work directly with Out of Box Theatre leadership and participate in planning events, supporting artists, and helping bring performances to life.
This is a collaborative role that combines creative thinking with practical production work.
